Who Wore What When

One of my favourite bloggers has finally opened her shop. I get the feeling that this may have happened quite some time ago, but due to me being offline, I missed it! Unfortunately for me, the silver bangles (pictured below) are sold out. No wonder as at $95 they were very reasonably priced!

 

Nothing else really caught my eye in the luxirare section, but the vintage section had a about a million and one things that I would happily order. The luxirare brand has been cultivated brilliantly, from the logo to the packaging. It is extremely impressive that this is all the work of a single, lone blogger!

Yes I am still alive. Have been without the Internet for a while which killed me! Also been so busy with The Coveted Mag,I haven't really had any spare time at all.

Anyhoo...The Scottish Fashion Awards are upon us. The nominees have been announced. I know a few people who have been shortlisted so 'GO THEM!' The only categories that are really exciting me are the Communicator category (if KoS doesn't win, then I will lose faith completely!) and the Graduate category. I loved Nadia Scullion long before her ECA graduate show. She sent me an image of a shocking pink mohair jacket with a black perspex collar and I immediately knew she was my kind of designer!

 

The Science Centre is a weird choice of venue for the Scottish Fashion Awards - a huge step down from the Castle and it certainly doesn't scream prestige! Maybe they want to be a bit cooler - more 'down with the kids'. But the Science Centre is where 7 year old kids find out how to make a parachute out of a placky bag? That ain't cool. Trust me, been there, done that!
